Drug Offenses

Christopher M. Glew began focusing on drug and marijuana-related offenses in 2002. He is a frequent writer and student of drug law and policy. Many new changes have affected the law in this area including Penal Code Section 11362.5. This is the medical marijuana provision. This area is the subject of much controversy and debate. Many citizens are still being wrongly detained and charged for non-crimes related to medical marijuana. We focus our efforts in this area on getting the client treatment and not incarceration.

Mr. Glew has a strong background of advocacy for the re-classification of marijuana and other schedule I substances that have empirically demonstrated therapeutic applications. Mr. Glew utilizes his extensive pharmacological and scientific knowledge of substances to best serve his clients. Mr. Glew is first and foremost an advocate for change and will represent each and every client charged with a marijuana/drug offense with the most zealous defense. The following are some common examples of marijuana-related offenses in California:

Health & Safety Code Sec 11357 Marijuana Possession
Health & Safety Code Sec 11358 Marijuana Cultivation
Health & Safety Code Sec 11359 Marijuana Possession for Sale
Health & Safety Code Sec 11360 Marijuana Transportation/Giving Away/Sales
